Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan Felicitates Dharmadhikari
Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan arrived in Navi Mumbai to honor preacher and spiritual guru Appasaheb Dharmadhikari in Navi Mumbai. The Panvel Municipal Council had organized the grand felicitation ceremony for the spiritual guru in Khandeshwar.
A grand felicitation ceremony for Appasaheb Dharmadhikari was organized by the Panvel Municipal Council at Khandeshwar. Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan arrived in Navi Mumbai to grace the event as the Chief Guest. Appasaheb Dharmadhikari is the son of late Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari the spiritual guru had a sanstha at Revdanda town of the Raigad district. He spread the philosophy of Saint Samarth Ramdas Swamians has won several awards, including the Mahrashtra Bhushan for his contribution towards betterment of the society. After Nanasaheb his son Appasaheb Dharmadhikari has carried on the same work. Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan felicitated Appasaheb Dharmadhikari on behalf of the Panvel Municipal Council. He gave him salutation.
He was also felicitated on behalf of the Ramseth Thakur Vikas Mandal at the hands of MPCC Jt. Treasurer Ramseth Thakur and Panvel MLA Prashant Thakur.
Panvel MLA Prashant Thakur said that in wake of the contributions of late Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari's in Raigad, the bridge being made by MMRDA in Panvel should be named after him.
The memorial being built for late Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari in Alibag is facing some technical obstacles. Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said that he would see to it that these issues were addressed. As for the demand of naming the MMRDA bridge after the late spiritual guru, he said that he would table this proposal in the cabinet meeting.
